Sakiko Sakuragi is a Japanese composer and vocalist whose game credits include Resident Evil 2, FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE and FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH.

Her music combines expressive orchestral arrangements, cinematic percussion and vocals that she performs and records herself. With a strong sense of musical storytelling, she creates vivid soundscapes that bring the worlds and emotions of each project to life.

Her credits include several projects recognized for their music and audio: Standing Woman received Best Soundtrack at the Unrestricted View Film Festival; Resident Evil 2 won Best Audio at the Golden Joystick Awards; FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE won Best Score and Music at The Game Awards; and FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH won the Music award at the BAFTA Games Awards and Best Score and Music at The Game Awards.

Sakiko began studying classical piano at the age of six and continued for 15 years. She also studied voice and musical theatre from high school. Her love of role playing games inspired her to start composing, driven by a desire to step into their worlds.

She began creating game music at OM FACTORY before joining INSPION. In addition to composition, she has experience in game music implementation and holds Wwise-201 certification. She also shares her experience through seminars, speaking engagements and media appearances.
