Motoki Ono
Sound Designer / Guitarist
Began classical guitar from 11 years old, and electric guitar from 13 years old. Started playing on 10-string guitar under the influence of master Ogawa Kazutaka, a 10-string guitarist. Worked on various instruments such as acoustic guitar, ukulele, bouzouki, etc. around classical guitar, and participated in numerous recordings and live performances. He also works as a composer and arranger in film music in collaboration with China and Taiwan, and is always trying to develop a wide range of activities.
Sponsored by Moridaira instruments since 2005, he reached the final round of the National Fingerpicking Style Contest in 2007.
He won the guitar contest at the 15th Nagoya Guitar Festival.
Part-time lecturer at the Nihon Kogakuin Music College in Hachiōji.
